Hunguest Hotel Nagyerdő Debrecen
In Hungary's second largest rural city, Debrecen offers its services the member hotel of Hortus Naturae Hotels chain, Hunguest Hotel Nagyerdõ. Both buildings of the hotel were built in the beginning of the '60s. Classic building was opened as 'Kohász' Holiday Centre in 1964. Superior building was built later and a renewal took place there in 1998.
Debrecen is the economical, cultural, religious, sport and tourism centre of the Eastern part of Hungary. A regional international airport is operated in Debrecen. The owner of Airport Debrecen is the Local Government of Debrecen Town with County Rights and the operator is Airport Debrecen Kft. The former Soviet military airport's concrete runway of 2500–metre length is suitable for large commercial airplanes. A VIP waiting room, buffet and meeting room is provided to travelers in Debrecen. The hotel is located at one of Debrecen's most beautiful places, in the Nagyerdõ, the "green heart" of the town in peaceful and calm environment. There are 103 double rooms — that can partly be provided with an extra bed —, 3 single rooms and 2 suites waiting for guests in the hotel. Each room has bathroom and balcony, and they're equipped with TV, telephone and minibar. Some of the rooms are air conditioned like the two restaurants of the hotel that offer buffet breakfast and a'la carte, buffet or menu dinner. The inner garden of the hotel has a grill terrace available for summer events where traditional specialties of the Hajdúság and Debrecen are prepared in oven, over live charcoal or in stew pot by the hotel's recognized chefs.

Hotel Nagyerdõ awaits guests with an animator, souvenir shop and room service. The hotel's service list also includes the acceptance of health insurance cards, taxi order and bathrobe–, hair dryer– and bicycle rental. In common rooms wireless internet service is available for guests of the hotel.
