Debrecen Water Amusement Park opened in 2003 is awaiting guests of Hortus Naturae Hotels. Debrecen's bathes trace back to a long history. In the Great Forest the Municipal Bath was operating from the beginning of the 20th century; originally it had been a tub bath that was transformed into an open bath of multiple pools after discovering the thermal spring of Debrecen. Additionally an indoor swimming pool was built in 1932. Recently it has become a bath complex consisting of the open bath, therapeutic unit and Debrecen Water Amusement Park.
